Titles are important
Why doesn't the news media realize That Sen. Obama's title is just that at this point "Senator" There is no such thing as an official title of "president elect" AND THEN....Today ...The local NBC News was doing a story on where President and Mrs Bush are going to live once they move out of the White House. They actually refered to the President as "The Future Former President".

Ok - I was kind of thinking you were just complaining until I got to Future Former President. I guess that makes me Future Former Dori (because someday (not too soon I hope) I'll be 'former' - you know?). That's right, I just used parenthesis inside parenthesis.
ReplyDeleteI think he created the new 'President Elect' title himself. It's on an official sign outside his office saying "Office of the President-Elect." That was a first for me. It's also a crying shame that his hotel costs $6,000 a night until he is officially President. Probably a lot better digs than he had in Illinois when we was a Future Former Senator of Illinois and after he's Future Former President.
