The hug of a child

Today we went to a restaurant after church where we had to wait a few minutes until we could be seated. I was sitting on a bench in the waiting area with my arms crossed. Next to me was another group of people consisting of about 6 adults and 2 children A little boy approx. 8 years old and a little girl about 4 years old. The little girl come over to me hugged me. In this day and time, I was afraid of what her parents might think if they decided to look over and see her hugging me. The little boy finally grabbed her by the arm and pulled her away. This was fine and I felt more comfortable then. However, he called out to the little girls mother and said "Tiffany was hugging a stranger!" All the adults wheeled around - all eyes were on me! I was trying to figure out what to say so they would not think I was a perv. I was also hoping the little boy would clear things up or they would realize that SHE was the one hugging me NOT ME hugging her. Finally the tension was broken when her mother said "Yes, she is a very friendly little girl."

Weight beyond limit

So I have a Wii fit. I try to set up my Mii it first asks for my height then my birthdate. OK now it tells me to step on so it can measure my weight..............It pauses for a while and then says "Weight beyond measurable limit. And that's it I'm done It won't let me do anything on it. So now how do I get in shape if I can't use wii fit? LOL

Simply With Hello

I met someone special, simply with “Hello”

My eyes follow closely and just won’t let go

Her hair softly curled pouring down her back

Glistening auburn red on her dress, taffeta black

Every move exquisite, full of grace and charm

I hear her coy voice giggle as we dance arm in arm

Her eye’s are big and round and sprinkle stardust light

Eternal in this moment, we waltz through the night

I just wanted my pizza

I heard the deliveryman pull up and I met him at the door. He handed me the pizza and the credit card slip to sign. While I am signing he notes how cold it is and that I am wearing short sleeves. He then starts talking about how he has an idea for a business. He tells me it is a retirement center where his business motto would be "Your time is more important than mine". This story was only an opening line for a seemingly endless speech on how he has succeeded at every job he has ever had because he has not just adopted this motto but he lives it. He continued on to tell me how to do this and just how important it was to be considerate of your customer and his time. In the mean time I am freezing. I have a hungry child inside and my pizza is getting cold....hmmm Then, as he is leaving (Finally) he stops as he is almost to his car and says "by the way over in Dallas at some of the stores they pay 350.00 Dollars per hour for Santas this time of year (as if they would need Santas some other part of the year)." He added on "Sometimes 450.00 per hour if you have a few years experience so you could work about 3 hours and pick up around 1000.00 dollars." Then the crowniing blow " I thought I would let you know because you have the perfect Santa build." Mind you he has a special Motto about being considerate of your customer.
